While its obvious that written communication has advanced to text messages, I wanted to focus on Digital Nonverbal communication. Emojis. Lets see what they added most recently

 It seems that people want to be able to communicate these things in a more nuanced way. The first one makes a lot of sense, an exhausted face with eye bags, This reflects the current mood of society. Young people are forced to work more jobs in order to keep up with rising inflation in real estate and groceries. The finger print refers to signing into your phone or leaving behind evidence, this could reflect the countries interest in true crime media. The beet is a pretty iconic reference to a beloved sitcom. The bare tree is interesting and could reflect the feeling of being exposed. The harp is a beautiful instrument I’m sure many individuals have been hoping for for many years. Just seeing the image you can hear the melodic sounds of a hard playing in your head. The shovel is funny and again reminds me of the true crime angle of burying a body. This is a big part of humor and comedy nowadays. It could also refer to the act of digging and be used in many contexts. Lastly the purple paint splotch gives a real indication of a mess, but an artistic one. This direct reference to art is an excellent way to allow people to be more creative.
